TIME CALLUSES

Seeking respite from an unsettled time in his life, the author organizes three intricately planned days filled with excursions, activities, dates, and parties---all of which collapse just as his much-anticipated weekend is about to arrive. Instead of staying home to absorb the bad luck, he accepts an impromptu invitation to an art show opening at a New Orleans gallery for an architect and artist friend. Time Calluses chronicles his 1200 miles and 48 hours in New Orleans, on the road, and time with a woman he has not seen in fourteen years.
